Phase 1: Named Storm Expected to Impact Region About 1 Week Out

Property Managers will be sending out communications via email blast with information on processes we will follow before, during and after the storm.
We will be in contact with our service providers to ensure they will be available during and after the storm.
Updating our websites and phones as changes occur.
Once a forcasted storm is projected to impact any of the areas we serve, Sweyer Property Management's dedicated "Severe Weather Team" begins meeting daily to ensure consistent and adequate service levels are being met.

If evacuating the property, turn your ice-maker OFF and empty all ice. Empty your refrigerator, unplug and leave the doors open. The thawed ice will leak out and cause water damage, and rotten food is a consequence of power loss and can be much more unpleasant than you realize.
PLEASE EMAIL YOUR PROPERTY MANAGER TO NOTIFY IF ALL OCCUPANTS ARE EVACUATING!
Secure ALL outside property that could be blown away or become a projectile. Bikes, patio furniture, plants, trash receptacles can become dangerous items and should be secured. We recommend that you bring EVERYTHING inside from your patio/front porch areas.
DO NOT tape or board windows. This can cause damage to the windows and/or siding.
Confirm that you have all items needed for a period of 3-5 days if you are staying at the property.
Review your renter’s insurance policy, as the owner will not be responsible for any damage to your personal belongings

OWNER PREPARATIONS

At this time, we will need you to review your insurance policy, have information available and be ready to contact your insurance company should there be damage to your investment property for which a claim will need to be filed. Should there be damage to your investment property it will be imperative that you file a claim as soon as you are notified by our team.
