Phase III: Storm has made impact, but not safe for us to move around the area yet

Please find additional links at the bottom of the page.

SWEYER PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PREPARATIONS
  • Final communications will be issued if possible.

  • Our phone systems will be updated.

  • After hours emergency call center will be turned on.

  • Office will be closed until storm passes to protect our employees during the storm.

  • After the storm passes we will communicate as soon as we are able to do so.

TENANT PREPARATIONS
  • If evacuating the property, turn your ice-maker OFF and empty all ice. Empty your refrigerator, unplug and leave the doors open. The thawed ice will leak out and cause water damage, and rotten food is a consequence of power loss and can be much more unpleasant than you realize.

  • PLEASE EMAIL YOUR PROPERTY MANAGER TO NOTIFY IF ALL OCCUPANTS ARE EVACUATING!

  • Damage to property: should you experience damage regarding a roof leak or any other type of water intrusion, please control any water possible by placing a bucket under a roof leak and towels down by doors/windows.

  • Continue to stay safe and actively prepare for before, during and after the storm.

OWNER PREPARATIONS

  • At this time, we will need you to review your insurance policy, have information available and be ready to contact your insurance company should there be damage to your investment property for which a claim will need to be filed. Should there be damage to your investment property it will be imperative that you file a claim as soon as you are notified by our team.

  • Continue to look at emails for updates sent by your Property Manager or by Sweyer Property Management.
